Effective from July 1st! The national standard "Safety Regulations for Electrochemical Energy Storage Power Plants" has been officially introduced

Recently, the national standard GB/T 42288-2022 "Safety Regulations for Electrochemical Energy Storage Power Plants" was approved and officially released by the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standards Committee). The document will be officially implemented from July 1, 2023.
The document is applicable to lithium-ion batteries, lead-acid (carbon) batteries, liquid flow batteries, water electrolysis hydrogen production/fuel cell energy storage stations. This standard specifies the safety technical requirements, operation, maintenance, maintenance, testing, and other safety requirements for electrochemical energy storage power station equipment and facilities, involving maintenance regulations for various equipment such as energy storage batteries, BMS, PCS, monitoring, and fire protection.
The release of this document will further enhance the safety of electrochemical energy storage power plants throughout their entire life cycle, effectively ensuring the safe and stable operation of electrochemical energy storage power plants.
